Tudo o que você precisa saber sobre o iHeartRadio Music Awards 2017
E a temporada de premiações em Hollywood segue firme. Acontece neste domingo (05), direto do The Forum, em Inglewood, na California, a cerimônia do iHeartRadio Music Awards 2017, aquela premiação que consagra os nomes da indústria fonográfica que mais se destacaram nas rádios norte-americanas. Para esta que é a quarta edição da premiação, o muso dos red carpets Ryan Seacrest foi escalado como o grande anfitrião da noite.
Entre os indicados, Drake foi o que mais recebeu nomeações, com um total 12, incluindo “Música do Ano” para “One Dance” e “Artista Masculino do Ano”. Atrás dele, vem a dupla The Chainsmokers com 11 indicações, fruto do bom desempenho do hit “Closer (feat. Halsey)”, que também concorre ao prêmio de “Música do Ano”.
Para a lista de performances, Bruno Mars foi um dos primeiros artistas a serem confirmados e, segundo a People, ele está marcado para encerrar a cerimônia com “That’s What I Like”. Além de cantar, Bruninho será homenageado com o iHeartRadio Innovator Award, prêmio que já foi dado a Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake e U2 nas edições anteriores. Teremos ainda Katy Perry abrindo a noite com “Chained in the Rhythm” e mais performances de Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin com The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Thomas Rhett, Noah Cyrus com Labrinth, e Big Sean.
E um time de estrelas também já está confirmado no evento: Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Macklemore, Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, Florida Georgia Line, John Legend, Halsey, Ansel Elgort, Karrueche Tran, CNCO, Joss Favela, Kelsea Ballerini e Daya.
Para este ano, a organização apresentou novas categorias de “artista revelação”, separados por seus estilos musicais. Vale lembrar que algumas categorias são decididas pelo voto popular: Melhor Fã-Base, Melhor Letra, Melhor Colaboração, Melhor Cover, Melhor Clipe, Estrela das Redes Sociais, Melhor Banda Underground Alternativo e Melhor Música de Filme. Esta última, inclusive, já teve seu vencedor anunciado: “Girls Talk Boys”, do 5 Seconds of Summer, pelo filme “Caça-Fantasmas”.
