Intitulada “Wolves”, a faixa com todo jeitão de HINO, foi apresentada a Selena ainda no ano passado. Na época, a composição era apenas um esboço de Andrew Watt (o mesmo de “It Ain’t Me” e “Let Me Love You”). Em recente entrevista à rádio ‘Beats 1’, Gomez contou ter gostado de imediato da ideia da canção e que a partir daí, ela e Marshmello ‘aperfeiçoaram’ a letra.

“Essa é uma música que eu ouvi no Japão pela primeira vez. Eu estava conversando com Andrew Watt, que é um dos compositores com quem trabalho há anos, e ele me mostrou uma versão ainda em estado bruto, digamos. Eu achei linda e ele a enviou para o Marshmello que criou uma melodia muito bacana e uma história com ela. É uma música muito bonita e pessoal“, comentou a fofa.
